Dear Rosedale neighbors,
The City of White Plains would like to remind residents that the use of gas-powered leaf blowers is prohibited year-round within city limits.
WHAT IS IT?
Gas powered backpack, hand held, ride-on, and push-behind leaf blowers can no longer be used within the City of White Plains.
Both landscapers and property owners are subject to this law and could be fined up to $250 for a violation.
WHY IS IT NECESSARY?
To reduce noise, pollution, and to protect our environment.
When Does this start?
This year-round prohibition went into effect on December 15th, 2024
