We are pleased to invite you to the Rosedale Residential Association’s (RRA) Annual Meeting. This year’s gathering will feature important discussions pertinent to our community.

Agenda Highlights:

  • 2025 White Plains Mayoral Election: We are honored to welcome the two announced mayoral candidates:
    • Justin Brasch: A two-term councilman and former council president, Justin Brasch has announced his candidacy for mayor. He has been actively involved in public service and aims to continue the city’s progress.
    • Nadine Hunt-Robinson: A former councilwoman and council president. Nadine Hunt-Robinson is a corporate attorney running for mayor with a focus on smart development and community policing. She has a history of advocating for the people of White Plains.

    Both candidates will share their visions for the future of White Plains and address questions from our community members.

  • Introduction to Proposed Development of the Old Windward School: A developer interested in purchasing and developing the old Windward School property will introduce themselves and their preliminary ideas. While a dedicated meeting for in-depth neighborhood input will be scheduled later, this introduction aims to acquaint residents with the developer and initiate early feedback.
  • Review of the 2025 Budget: An overview of the current financial standing of the RRA, including:
    • Summary of expenditures and revenues to date.
    • Discussion on any budget adjustments or reallocations needed.
    • Plans for future financial initiatives and community projects.
  • Planning for Septemberfest 2025: Discussion on the upcoming annual community event, including:
    • Activities and Entertainment: Reviewing potential offerings such as:
      • Food vendors and catering options.
      • Children’s activities (e.g., bouncy castles, games).
      • Live music or performances.
      • Raffles and giveaways.
    • Budget Allocation: Detailed breakdown of the projected costs associated with Septemberfest, including:
      • Venue expenses.
      • Vendor fees.
      • Marketing and promotional materials.
      • Miscellaneous expenses.
  • RRA’s Non-Profit Status: We are proud to announce that the Rosedale Residential Association is now officially recognized as a Non-Profit Organization in New York State, marking a significant milestone for the RRA. This status will enhance our ability to serve the community and pursue our mission effectively.

We encourage all residents to attend this meeting, as it is an excellent opportunity to engage with potential city leaders, provide input on developments affecting our neighborhood, and participate in planning our cherished community events.
