Below is the agenda for our Annual Board Meeting on Monday 5/10/21 @7pm and our annual letter to the RRA. You should be receiving a copy of the information in the mail this week. This year our meeting will be held via Zoom. We have a robust agenda that will deal with several issues that are important to the RRA. Agenda:
7pm-7:10pm– Welcome from the President Mike Sanchez and Review of the Agenda
7:15pm-7:45pm- Windward Associate Head of School: Jonathan Rosenshine
- Updating the RRA on the status of the old Windward property on Windward Ave and their move to the old March of Dimes Campus @ 1275 Mamaroneck Avenue.
7:45pm -8:30 pm -Special Guest Speaker (Commissioners Tom Soyk (Transportation) and Chris Gomez (Planning)
- Updates and plans to address RRA Traffic concerns, the Comprehensive Plan, Corporate Park development, and other known development plans in or adjacent to the RRA.
8:30pm -9:00pm
Democratic and Republican Mayoral/Common Council Candidates for 2021 will introduce themselves to the residents (maximum 5 minutes each candidate). No questions or debate. Candidates will be encouraged to provide contact information for questions or further discussion.
9:00-9:45pm- RRA business
- Review of January minutes and discussion.
- Request volunteers to join and serve the community on the board or committees.
- Treasurer John Cherico will report the association’s current financial balance sheet. He will also report on five-year trend on membership fees and the past cost of annual the 2019 Septemberfest.
- Vote to replace John Cherico as Treasurer with our current VP Nicoy Spence.
- Volunteers for new Vice President (VP) and vote on a new VP.
- Vote to approve Septemberfest and a budget for “September Fest 2021”
- Need volunteers for RRA 3rd annual “Septemberfest 2021” scheduled for September 25, 2021

Our mission is to become the voice of the community and to promote the general welfare of Rosedale/White Plains residents.
The RRA has a new and improved website that will be updated regularly. A history of all eblast information and a blog will help us to better document RRA/WP related information and allow for community feedback. We are looking forward to hosting Septemberfest again this year. Since we had to cancel last year’s BBQ, we are looking to make the 2021 Septemberfest BBQ the best one yet. Dues can be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or through the mail. The PayPal link can be found on the RRA website by clicking on the “Membership” button.
