If you have experienced flooding, drainage problems, runoff, or water-related impacts anywhere in or around Rosedale, your voice matters right now.

We are asking for your immediate attention regarding the proposed 1 Sycamore Lane development.

This issue is not limited to a few nearby homes. The larger concern is flooding, drainage, wetlands impact, public safety, traffic, and whether the neighborhood is being given a meaningful opportunity to be heard before decisions move forward.

Here is what we are asking residents to do:

1. Email the Mayor and Common Council and explain, in your own words, your flooding concerns or why this issue matters to your household.
2. Reply to this email with your name, street, and a short description of any flooding or drainage issue you have experienced.
3. Be prepared to attend the next public meeting on short notice. We will circulate details as soon as an agenda is posted.

Please do not feel that you need to be an expert. The most important thing is that City officials hear directly from residents that this is a real neighborhood-wide concern and not a narrow issue affecting only a few people.

Suggested points you may wish to mention:

• Any flooding or drainage issues you have personally experienced
• Concern about adding more impervious surface near wetlands
• Concern that a limited review should not be treated as the final word
• Concern that residents deserve a real opportunity to be heard before any action is taken
• Concern about the precedent for future overdevelopment resulting in flooding in the neighborhood
